CONTACT — A great book from the mid-1980s written by Dr. Carl Sagan — and a favorite of mine. About ten years later, the book was turned into a fairly decent movie by filmmaker Robert Zemeckis. It starred Jodie Foster and featured a cameo by President Bill Clinton who, of course, was President at that time. The film mentions Pensacola — and [SPOILER] Pensacola is where the aliens send Dr. Arroway (Foster) to talk to them via her dead father…
Um, yeh. That pretty much happens here in Pensacola — on a regular basis. Time travel. Aliens. Meeting and talking with dead people. That’s life here in the EPHFL.

ABOUT THE BLOG — Over a decade ago, I was told that the time of Web Logs, “Blogs,” had come and gone. There may be a few lonely souls out there still writing, but no one still reads blogs. No one.
If this is true, I feel pretty safe writing this blog. Because this blog is written for me. It’s a simple way to write and create and clear my head. Therapy, some call it. And, as you may discover (or already have discovered), my mind tends to go in many directions — sometimes simultaneously. That cannot be helped.
It is the Adult ADHD in the EPHFL.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR — Yes, some of you may remember a previous blog of mine. As the CEO of (what became) an International Think Tank, I did have a lot of time on my hands. Maybe too much time, some may say. That position and associated blog got me into a bit of trouble, but managed to earn me a small fortune, and allowed me to take some time off. Hopefully I have managed to distance myself from my former position and the now defunct “Tanks of Think.”
That being said, upon occasion, I may cautiously dip into past subjects — for as long as they last, anyway.
But, let me say that most of this will be new — new to me, at least.
