Old stuff — I’m not referring to old people, or “seasoned citizens” — the Oldies page is stuff I have posted over the years that proved to be popular. I would use the word “Archive” but doesn’t that sound a bit posh? After all this is just a low-traffic blog — not a museum or gallery where it would be proper to use the word “archive’ rather than “oldies.”

Of these The Hidalgo Grain Company (an imaginary “Think Tank” where thoughts and common sense were stored in silos and the motto was “Tanks of Think. Silos of Sense”) was the most successful and accomplished what I wanted it to do. Ektachrome Transparency introduced me to WordPress. And Inktrekker was an attempt to write less and draw more — that soon became way too much work. For awhile I had the idea of writing a blog about beer and calling it “Drink Trekker.” The idea was to write less and drink more — probably not a good idea.

There you have it. All of my dark past. All of my failures and insecurities. My successes and dreams.
